Global Foods

Global Foods Market LLC| 
421 N Kirkwood Rd, / aka north hwy 67
Kirkwood, MO 63122
Cross Streets: Between W Washington Ave
and E Washington Ave and E Bodley Ave

This place is the Kroger of international food! Distinguishable from their sister store Jay international on South Grand, Global foods is CLEAN, BRIGHT, WELL STOCKED and their isles are grouped by country of origin. Decorated with flags of each country from which the items come from. Making it very easy to find the type of foods you wish to try. and if you enjoy sausages then let me direct you to their deli case where you will find a numerous selection of sausages from all over. My favorite is Juniper sausage, very tasty. That's not all they have an exotic collection of vegetables you wont find at Schnucks or Shop n Save! Plus they have a shoe collection for the needy. This store is a outstanding part of their community.

In short – You couldn't do Better for a tremendous international food store.
  • Pros: Great selection of international foods, Plenty of parking, great friendly Staff, and Tasty Chilled coffees
  • Cons: Hard to get into parking lot.

Dollar General

Dollar General Store | 
6574 Manchester Avenue
Saint Louis, MO 63139

I have been in this store during this past week and each and every time I go, it has been a mess! Now I do a lot of business there cause I like the deals and brands I find there. However, this is the worst I have ever seen it. It is normal to find it a bit hard to get around in this store, for all the merchandise strewn across the isles. But Please, this store looks like a herd of wild wilder beasts had rampaged inside of the store. Good God manager have some respect for the way your store looks. I can see items misplaced on the selves or a item falling onto the floor but with so much junk in the isles, It reminds me of an Iraqi war documentary and that means somethings wrong. If they do not have enough help hire more or the best solution would be to pick up things instead of stepping over it. If you don't start you are going to lose your business. .

In short – Wear some shin guards and a bike helmet before you go.
  • Pros: Good item selection, Enormous Parking Space
  • Cons: Poor management, High Tripping Possibility

Four Muddy Paws

Four Muddy Paws | 
1711 Park Avenue Saint Louis, MO 63104

My nephews love going to this place. Shoo Shoo, Peka, and Shippo have a great time each and every time they visit. They have great service and a wide selection of food products, treats, etc. They also have a great selection of collars, leashes, and other needed items to pamper your pet! This is a great store! The owners and staff are extremely nice, friendly, and most important knowledgeable. They have great facilities for bathing your doggie yourself and set you up with everything and I do mean everything needed. They also employ some amazing groomers if you don't want to do-it-yourself. I love their food selection and willingness to make sure you get the right food for your pet. Even my cat boogie loves their eclectic collection of cat food they carry. So if you are having a tough time pleasing your pet, visit Four Muddy Paws and make some important new friends.

In short – Dogs howl their praise and its the cats meow
  • Pros: Good Healthy Food Selection, Great Doggie Wash, and Frindly Atmosphere
  • Cons: Parking

Congress Inn St. Louis Airport

Congress Inn St. Louis Airport | 
3433 North Lindbergh Boulevard, St. Ann, MO 63074-2102

This place is so wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start. Being a former motel owner myself, I always took great pains to keep my rooms clean. One of the first things I found was needle caps in the shower plus all the signs of the use of crack on the carpet. It appears they must not clean very well or they hire blind as a bat maids to do the rooms here. All I can say is nasty!!! Located next door with a shared parking lot is a Adult Book Store. Which makes for some interesting noises coming from your adjoining rooms. And just minutes from the Airport Those Mighty Engines do make an unusual vibrating bed effect. The gap under the doors could allow all sorts of vermin to pay you a visit in the night. Mice, Snakes, Spiders...Who knows

In short – Check Out The Red Roof Inn located in West Port
  • Pros: Good Pricing, located close to Airport, and good AC / Heat
  • Cons: Customer Service, Unfriendly, Filthy Carpets, Smells, and Cracks Under doors

Panda Pavilion

Panda Pavilion 
5353 Chippewa St
St Louis, MO 63109

I visit this place often, matter of fact I have gone to Panda Pavilion for years. I find that if given a chance I would eat it every day, however I usually have enough left over for the next day. We ordered the House Chow Mei Fun Or Singapore Style and the Pepper Steak With Onion. You will be pleased to discover the beef slices were quite lean and crispy with a charbroiled flavor. We both agreed that the dishes were incredibly tasty and would be difficult, if not impossible, to duplicate at home. While he enjoyed the House Chow Mei Fun Or Singapore Style, I'm particularly fond of the Pepper Steak With Onion. The flavor was spot on, although the spice was very mild, I should have ordered a side of their Garlic Sauce. To finish we agreed some Pork Fried Rice and boy did we get our moneys worth. That's one thing I can say – You'll have Plenty to share with unexpected guests

In short – Try It You'll Love It!
  • Pros: Great Food, Good Pricing, Large Portions & Friendly Service.
  • Cons: Not really a sit down and Eat in Kinda Place...Smallish
